General Tips ============ When the ball is tight on the side wall, soften your hands/arm in the swing, so the racket can slide along the wall to hit the ball, rather than jamming against it and getting stuck. ---- If you sense that the ball is heading anywhere near the nick on the first bounce, then shorten the backswing, lowering the racket towards the ball so that you can react quickly to any odd bounce. ---- Focus on spacing in the back corner and think about the line that you take to the ball. You want to be able to swing freely when you are in a position to hit your shot. In order to do this you will need some space between you and the ball so try not to take too much of a direct line to the ball. Think about moving down the middle and then being able to transfer your weight into the shot and use your follow through to take you back to the T. ---- Vary the pace in the back corner depending on how much pressure you are under. If you have time attack the ball and try and put pressure on your opponent, if you are under pressure lift the ball and get back to the T. ----
